Here at Oasis Church, We Believe these things below!

  • We believe in the one and true God who is the Creator and Ruler of the universe upholding and governing all.  He is personal, loving, holy, and exists eternally in three distinct persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    (Genesis 1:1, 26-27; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 9:6, 61:1-3; Matthew 3:16,17; 28:19; Luke1:35; John 1:14, 14:28, 15:26, 16:28; Acts 5:3-4; I Peter 1:2). 

  • We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in love, holiness, justice, and grace.

    (Luke10:21-22; Matthew 23:9; John 3:16, 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:1-2, 2:5-6; 1 Peter 1:3; Revelation 1:6).

  • We believe Jesus to be the virgin born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to the Father.

    (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1,14; 20:28; Philippians 2:5,6; 1 Timothy 2:5, 3:16 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5, 5:9; Colossians 1:20; Romans 3:10-12, 23; 5:9; John 1:29).

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus, assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus and convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

    (John 14:16-17, 26; 15:26-27; John 16:9-14; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22-26).

  • We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of Scripture.

    (Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25,26; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21; Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalm 119:11, 89, 105; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39, 16:13-15, 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2, 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:21).

  • God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

    (Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Galatians 2:16; 3:8, 3:18; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 9:22; John 1:12, 14:17,23; 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20).

  • God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, and because of this the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity.

    (John 10:29; II Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25 & 10:10-14; I Peter 1:3-5). 

  • We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head.  Those within the Church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ.

    (John 17:11,20-23; Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23. Matthew 16:18-19, 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-47, 5:11-14, 13:1-3, 14:23, 16:5, 20:28; 1 Corinthians 7:17; Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22, 3:10-12, 5:22-32; Colossians 1:18, 3:15; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Revelation 21:2-3).

  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed to the Church two ordinances.  These being 1) baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper (Communion) which is open to all believers in Jesus Christ for salvation.

    (Mt. 28:19; Acts 2:38, 8:12, 36-38, 10:47-48; Mark 16:16; Co. 2:12; Mt. 26:26-29; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38, 10:47-48; I Cor. 10:16, 11:23-26).     

  • We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom.

    (Matthew 24:30; 26:63, 64; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:7,8; Revelation 1:7).

Here at Oasis Church we believe in making Disciples!

Gather

We Gather each Sunday morning to welcome people into our faith family, and to worship God as believers. When people encountered Jesus during His earthly ministry, some would believe in Him and some would not. As a local church, we will intentionally provide opportunities for people to come, investigate, and be welcomed in. Our main purpose in gathering on Sundays as believers is to honor Jesus together in worship through prayer, study of the Bible, giving, serving, singing, and in fellowship.  

Grow

We want to see people Grow in their spiritual journey. Jesus spent time with His disciples, and togetherness creates a context for this to happen. These environments are meant to shape and form us, while creating authenticity in faith and friendships. In these spaces, our hope is that every disciple will experience deeper communion with Jesus’ heart resulting in greater peace with Him and other people. Our purpose in growing is to…

One way we are currently creating this opportunity is through our Oasis Communities. They offer a simple way to grow together in our relationship with Jesus and others. We currently have two groups meeting in homes, with more groups to form in the future.

  • OC Desert Bluffs:  Meets every Wednesday @ 7pm. 

  • OC Sage Canyon: Meets every Thursday @ 7pm.

 We want to Go to spiritually thirsty people locally and globally for their good and God’s glory. God’s love leads Him to proactively pursue people, and one way He does that is through the local church. We seek to provide a variety of opportunities to get involved in service to our community and world. We will do this on both a local and global level.

Local: We are regularly engaging in local outreach by serving businesses, non-profits, and neighborhoods.

Global: We prayerfully consider missions trip destinations and are excited about potential upcoming opportunities!
